How Naples Haven Watch collects, uses, and protects your information
Last updated: July 28, 2026
Naples Haven Watch ("we," "us," or "our") provides home watch and concierge services in Naples and Southwest Florida. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you use our website at napleshavenwatch.com (and related domains), submit a quote request, create an account, or subscribe to a service plan.
Questions about this policy may be sent to Michael@Napleshavenwatch.com or by phone at (727) 902-8722.
We collect information you provide directly and information generated when you use our services:
We do not sell your personal information.
When you submit the contact or quote form, we store your submission in our production database (see Neon below) with fields including name, email, phone, property address, service type, message, status, and timestamps. Submissions are reviewed by our team and may be updated with admin notes as we process your request.
We retain contact form records for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, provide ongoing services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal or insurance requirements. You may request deletion of your contact submission by emailing Michael@Napleshavenwatch.com; we will honor requests where we are not required to keep the data for legitimate business or legal reasons.
To reduce spam and protect our systems, form submissions are rate-limited by IP address using Redis (Upstash). Rate-limit keys are short-lived (typically one minute windows) and are not used for marketing.
Client login and registration use Better Auth with email and password. Account data (user profile, sessions, and credentials metadata) is stored in our Postgres database. Sessions may include IP address and user agent for security. You can sign out at any time from your dashboard. To close your account or correct account information, contact us at Michael@Napleshavenwatch.com.
If online checkout is enabled, payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe receives payment method details under its own privacy policy. We store subscription status, plan identifiers, Stripe customer/subscription IDs, and billing period dates so we can deliver the correct service tier and show status in your client dashboard. We do not store full credit card numbers on our infrastructure. For payment-specific privacy details, see Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Application data—including contact requests, user accounts, sessions, property records, subscriptions, and admin audit logs—is stored in a Neon-hosted PostgreSQL database. Neon processes data as our infrastructure provider under contractual and technical safeguards appropriate for production use. Access to production data is restricted to authorized operators of Naples Haven Watch and automated systems required to run the application.
Our website is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may process request logs, deployment metadata, and performance metrics as part of delivering the site. We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand traffic volume and page performance. These tools are configured to help us improve the site and are not used to sell advertising based on your personal profile. For more information, review Vercel's privacy documentation.
When you submit a quote request, we may notify our internal team by email through SendGrid and/or Resend, and by SMS through Twilio. Those notifications include the information you submitted (such as name, email, phone, property address, and service type) so we can respond promptly. These providers process message content solely to deliver notifications on our behalf. We do not use your contact form data to send marketing SMS without a separate, lawful basis and your consent where required.
We may use Sentry to capture application errors and performance traces so we can diagnose outages and bugs. Event data may include technical context (URLs, browser, runtime environment). Sentry is optional; when not configured, errors are logged only in our hosting provider's logs. We aim to avoid sending unnecessary personal content in error reports.
We use cookies and similar technologies necessary for authentication sessions (so you stay signed in) and for basic site operation. Analytics tools may set cookies or use local storage as described by Vercel. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent login or form features from working correctly.
We share personal information only as needed to operate the service:
We do not sell personal information to third parties.
We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS, secure password hashing, session-based authentication, rate limiting on public forms, security response headers, and restricted access to production systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
To exercise these rights, email Michael@Napleshavenwatch.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. California residents may also have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale/sharing (we do not sell personal information).
Our services are intended for adults arranging home watch for property they own or manage. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes means you acknowledge the updated policy. Material changes may be highlighted on the website or communicated by email when appropriate.
